Rev. David Sosebee has been the pastor of New Hope Baptist Church since 1996. He is a graduate of New Orleans Theological Seminary, The Southern Baptist School of Biblical Studies and the Covington Theological Seminary.
He and his wife Brenda have been married for 32 years. They have two grown children and sons-in-law, Heather and Denver Shirley and Lindsay and Matthew Adams. They also became grandparents in April of 2008 to Logan Shirley.
Minister of Music Tim Culpepper has a heart and a desire to serve the Lord and lift up the name of Jesus through song. Born and raised in Toccoa, Tim has been a part of the New Hope family since 1981.
Tim's personal mission statement for the music ministry of New Hope Baptist Church is to lift up the name of Jesus through song. His hope and prayer is that some heart may be touched, some soul saved and some one encouraged through his ministry.
Tim is blessed to be married to a wonderful wife, Elaine, since 1984. The Culpepper's have two children, Carli and Collin.
Kelly is originally from Anderson, SC but moved to Toccoa in 1990 to attend Toccoa Falls College. She has a passion for working with children and a desire to serve the Lord in planting the seeds of His love and His salvation into the hearts of young people. Kelly is able to combine her love for children and her love for music in her work with the Children's Choir. Her desire as Children's Director is to see the Children's Department grow and flourish with young people who are grounded in God's Word and are ready to serve Him now and for many years to come. She has been a member of the New Hope family since August of 2006.
Kelly and her husband, Derrick, have been married since 1993 and have two children, Kyle and Allye.
Gail Durbin was born and raised in Niagara Falls, NY. She moved to Toccoa in 2007 where she resides with her husband Darrel. They have been members of the church since 2008 and love the Lord with all their hearts.
